Biography - Larry Hopkins Soon after, the same friend got a call from one of SONY's video game divisions and was asked to recommend several composers for their next project. After a meeting with Larry, it was decided that Larry would compose music for SONY's "Jak & Daxter 2 - Legacy of the Precursor". After the successful release and reviews of Jak 2, Larry was asked to score the next entry in the trilogy simply titled "Jak 3". The score for Jak 3 was written as an orchestral piece, however it was recorded entirely using synthesizers and samplers. These days, scoring music for video games is so much like scoring for film and television, that it seems a perfect fit for Larry's blend of musical knowledge and electronic music/sound design. Larry Hopkins is currently working yet on another project for SONY and plans to continue with the composing career. "It's what I always wanted to do from the very beginning, so I feel very blessed with the opportunity to do what I love to do. I'll keep trying to raise the quality of my work with every project" say Hopkins. The End!
